Angel’s Fall – (Set time:11:00 pm)
Angels Fall was started by Joel Jorgensen in Los Angeles CA in 2010. Armed with an arsenal of self written Rock Alternative songs. Along the way Jorgensen’s long time friend and successful bass player Ben Jindra joined the band. Together they are carving their names on the ever growing family tree of rockstars from Los Angeles delivering hit songs with home town lyrics and melodies that speak from the only place they know where to speak from, their hearts and experiences!
Every Living Soul – (Set time:10:00 pm)
Michael Rosenfield formed Every Living Soul in 2009. To him “it’s been an evolution, an inspiration, an ever-changing journey.†The ELS line-up includes Chris Hodges on vocals, Blake Paulson on drums, Andrew James on bass and, sharing guitar duties with Michael, Greg Pajer. ELS’s new album, Any Questions, is a fresh chapter for the band’s sound. Michael says “even though guitar is my main instrument, the use of keyboards and percussion loops took the songs and the band’s sound miles forward. Michael goes on “these are the songs I hear in my head and want to play — my hope is that the listeners enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed creating them.†Lyrically, the Any Questions album is based upon themes of letting go of certain relationships and people to make room for more positive connections — the connections that bring out the best in you. The tone is set into motion with the album’s opening track, Stop-Rage. The song’s cry is to Stop, to Rage, to Scream so you can Live. In other words, wake up and don’t settle for 2nd best. The album then shifts into the keyboard-inspired, trance-like intro of Dark + Damaged and the aggressive but melodic Breathe, where Chris’s vocals soar.Chris’s voice and attitude have always captured the essence of the ELS sound. So when it came time to record the new album Michael, of course, turned to Hodges. With the direction of producer, Max Coane, vocals were recorded at Michael’s studio in Downtown L.A.Every Living Soul’s first album debuted in 2009 with Gregg Bissonette on drums and his brother, Matt Bissonette, on bass. Although Michael had previously recorded with the Bissonette Bros., that was his first time working with vocalist, Hodges. With the help of producer, Carlos Platon Tornes, the 2009 album was rich with crunching guitars, bombastic riffs, Bissonette’s stadium-sounding drums and Chris’s no-holds-barred vocals. As for the new album, no one can predict where an album will go, but the real goal is to enjoy the journey. One thing we do know is that making Any Questions was an act of pure passion and inspiration. All of the tunes on Any Questions were written by Michael, except for Breathe and The Wind, which were written by Michael and Chris Hodges.
The Bath Party – (Set time:9:00 pm)
The Bath Party, named after the Syrian and Iraqi philosophy of total political dominance through assassination, is a four piece heavy rock group currently revitalizing the Los Angeles music scene and is our nation’s best hope for economic recovery. The bands main purpose is to give Rock ‘n Roll its balls back and become millionaires, of which the money will be invested in dry goods, small arms and bibles for the upcoming revolution. Their music can be described as Procol Harem meets the Misfits meets Grace Slick meets the Smashing Pumpkins while ripping off early Pink Floyd.
