Black Pistol Fire – (Set time:11pm)
Black Pistol Fire is a Canadian Rock and Roll duo that split’s time between Toronto, Ontario and Austin, Texas. Their wild and energetic rock-and-roll sound has been described as a mix of classic southern rock and garage punk, garnering comparisons to early Kings of Leon, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Black Keys, and Clutch. It’s clear that the band’s sound spans many different eras and subgenres, relying on a classic rock and roll sound that has been updated for our modern times.

Thomas Nicholas Band – (Set time:10pm)
TNB has a lot to say on their latest self titled EP In fact, Thomas pens songs about all kinds of revolutions-from personal and emotional revelations to perspectives changing on a mass scale. However, the riff is just as mighty as the word for Thomas, and there’s no shortage of infectious, soulful rock on the new EP. “My Generation” is the rock anthem for his peers, while “Love and Hate” pulsates with palpable sonic energy. This album stands out as a declaration for the Thomas Nicholas Band, so listen up.

The Railways – (Set time:9pm)
Released on July 3, 2012, the Railways’ debut record “Didn’t See It Comin’” displays a thrilling new brand of soulful rock ‘n” roll that calls to mind legendary rock bands of the past. With a new contemporary vision and red hot musicianship, they have successfully combined the soul-dripping influences of Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland and Donny Hathaway with the raw rock power of Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers Band. Like those bands, the active ingredient in The Railways ‘cocktail of sound’ is really strong songwriting. Few bands come out of the gates with such a potent catalog of original material. It’s time for the world to get behind this music and help it reach a mass audience. Play it loud!

Access Royale – (Set time:8pm)
If you were to ask Charles, Vee, and Robzie what Access Royale sounds like. They would most likely respond with “People have said we’re a fusion of Muse, U2, Green Day, and the list goes on. We think we sound like Access Royale. We just write songs that inspire us and call it indie rock.”

Access Royale was founded in late 2010 by Vee Styles (Guitar &Vocal) who sought to put together a band through placing ads and taking referrals from other musicians. In Early 2011, Vee found Robzie Rhodes (Drums) and Charles Maven (Lead vocal & Keys) searching for similar like minded musicians in a local listing in DC. It didn’t take long for the three members to realize Access Royale would be destined to make music. The initial five hour rehearsal was all it took. By March 2011, the band were on their way to Los Angeles to shoot the first music video called “Hide” with director Mike Flight.

The Washington D.C. based band has had remarkable feedback in the U.K. on their 2012 debut album ‘City Of Paradigm’ which U.K.’s 405 Magazine calls it “…Very well played, Very Slick, and Well Produced.” The independent release has garnered similar positive feedback from NME, Panic Dots Magazine, AU Magazine, Spinner Magazine, Who’s Jack Magazine, iSpy Magazine, VPME, plus many others. One thing is for certain, Access Royale have found a sound of their own. Maybe it’s due to the fact that only one member in the band actually reads music or maybe it’s because of the distinctly different influences each member brings. One being classically trained, the other influenced by hip hop and funk, and another influenced by 70s classic British rock makes for a colorful mix. Whatever the case may be, Access Royale is a band worth noting.
