Mother Mother – (Set time:10:00pm)
After an exciting year of virtually non-stop globetrotting, Canadian art-pop quintet MOTHER MOTHER wasted no time getting back into recording mode to create what they
are pleased to present to the world as their next studio effort: THE STICKS, due February
12, 2013 via Last Gang Records.

Mother Mother’s rapid ascent from an acoustic folk trio touring the open mics of their
hometown to an internationally revered alternative pop/rock five-piece touring the clubs,
theaters and event centers of North America and Europe not only demonstrates just how
far they’ve come but has also blazed the trail for what’s to follow. Featuring the multitalented
line up of Ryan Guldemond (vocals/guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals/synth),
Jasmin Parkin (vocals/keys), Jeremy Page (bass/horns) and Ali Siadat
(percussion/electronics), Mother Mother’s unique blend of clever lyrics, stunning vocals,
quirky arrangements and a multi-dimensional sound both on stage and in the studio has
amassed the group a reputation that’s brought about their celebration as indie darlings, all
the while endearing to the mainstream.

Battle Tapes – (Set time:9:00pm)
Battle Tapes is an electro synth rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in late 2010 by frontman Josh Boardman the band features keyboardist Riley Mackin, bassist Stephen Bannister and drummer J.J. Bower.

Battle Tapes released their first body of work, “Sleepwalker” in the Summer of 2011. The self-released six-track EP features the standout track of the same name, as well as remix contributions from fellow up-and-coming artists. The group released their second EP, “Sweatshop Boys” in the Spring of 2012, further blurring the lines between indie rock and dance music.

Battle Tapes performs regularly in the Los Angeles area, at venues throughout Hollywood, Silver Lake and Echo Park, and is a mainstay and fan favorite on Moheak Radio.

Thorcraft Cobra – (Set time:8:00pm)
With The Thorcraft Cobra EP, Canadian cold meets California cool. Billy and Tammy first met in previous projects while they were on the same label–the now defunct, but influential, Permanent Press Recordings. With Billy on guitars, bass and lead vocals, and Tammy on drums and BG’s – and with a host of special guests including Tammy’s Sparks bandmate Russell Mael, and Sabrosa Purr’s Will Love – The Thorcraft Cobra EP touches on all manner of musical landscapes in a brief yet rewarding 20 minutes.
