I Can't Pay My Rent, But I'm F*cking Gorgeous

Well what can we say other than for three nights straight Semi Precious Weapons smashed our faces with glamorous rock and roll. They played to a packed room every night, debuted new songs, and Perez Hilton announced Semi Precious Weapons will be signing to his new label. Their show was filled with high kicks, costume changes, and ridiculous behavior – upon Justin Tranter’s (lead singer of SPW) request, some boobs were definitely flashed.

Semi Precious Weapons debuted a handful of delicious new tunes. Among them were Dead Girlfriends – all about glamour & vamps; Leave Your Pretty To Me – a bitchin’ ballad, newly written and a beautiful; My Designer Heart and Get On Top of Yourself. During yet another new song, Stinky Champagne, which includes only a few sexual innuendos, Tranter unleashed a bottle of champagne over the entire audience – only sober people don’t like free booze!

At the beginning of their set each night, they tagged a canvas sheet attached to the stage wall. With silver and gold spray paint, “I <3 SPW” and the date was applied on the canvas, reminding the audience to show the love and to claim their territory-can’t blame them, they did own The Viper Room.

DJ High Voltage (Thursday/Saturday) and DJ Jamie Scrap (Friday) transformed the room into a full on dance club after the bands, and true to their nature, SPW kicked it with the crowd and danced until the wee hours of the morning each and every night. The Viper Room would like to thank Semi Precious Weapons for gracing us with their awesomeness for three full nights of severe enjoyment; Filter Magazine, Perez Hilton, Sean Healy, and everyone that attended for loving SPW as much as we do. Let’s do it again!
